Wade L. Briggs began his communications career as one of Detroit, Michigan’s premier radio personality’s.  Following his service with the U.S. Air Force, Briggs worked for Bell Broadcasting Company, an African American owned radio station (WCHB), as DJ, Talk Show Host, Program Director and eventually Operations Manager.

Briggs was recruited by Barden Communications and became a partner in the firm which received several Cable Franchises; including, winning the bid to build and operate Detroit’s cable franchise.  Briggs served as V.P. of Programming and Advertising and delivered on time and within budget every requirement of the Cable Franchise Agreement.  Briggs was appointed and served as a board member of the Michigan Cable Television Association for four years.

In 1994 Briggs founded Voice Net Communications, a voice mail service provider for S.E. Michigan, which he sold to Ameritech (Bell System) in 1997.

Wade L. Briggs Enterprises, Inc. was founded in 1996 and has provided Marketing and Communications services for municipality and private firms, generally in a bid process by partnering with General and Sub Contractors.  Briggs Enterprises, Inc. has provided services on such projects as; Barden Cablevision (Estimated cost $108,M), Atwater LLC – Motor City Casino (Estimated cost $400,M), Bell Cablevision – Highland Park Cable Television (Estimated cost $25,M) and Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (Estimated cost in excess of $3,M).

Wade L. Briggs has consistently adhered with partnering requirements to participate with Minority/Women/Local owned business and has met and exceeded municipal and governmental standards.
